Alright ladies and gentlemen, please take a gander at these breath taking pictures.....participants at my workshop took these and believe it or not but most of them were taken with just point and shoot cameras. I am so pleased with the way the work of these fabulous photogs have turned out as I get to see what I taught them come to fruition. You gals rock! Please vote for your favorite and make sure to leave a comment on this post of why you are voting for the one you like. I will only accept one vote per person, so do make sure to get everyone to help my friends out. I will open voting until this Friday July 10th at 12am. Then on Saturday the winnerz will be announced. 1st place will receive Photoshop CS4, 2nd place will receive Adobe Lightroom, and 3rd prize will be a suprise. I vote for picture #1 because its the one that jumps out at me... I like the eye contact between the models and the camera...and I also like the color scheme! Awesome work!
They all turned out great. However, I vote #6 because I love the pop of the red brick on the side and they look like they're so intensely into each other!!!

The photos look amazing :] but #1 is definitely the most appealing. It's eye catching and the rule of 3rds is used in the pic giving it a better edge, so props to the photographer! I wish everyone the best of luck!

I am voting for #3, it is beautiful and artistic. I love the way you are drawn to the models cheekbone and eye.
My pic is number 3. Even though the color is faded, everything in the pic still pops. Her smooth skin is surrounded by the rough exterior wall and his rough cold glaze. Her intense look seems to wonder what is she thinking. Keeps you looking till you get lost. Great job!

I love #1. I think they both look so fierce. I love the background and I can totally tell she was about to take advantage of him, had we not interrupted!! lol...my 2nd choice would've been #2 because I think it looks kinda cartoonish...it's cool.

i have to say #3. but let me explain. I like the use of the black and white and it makes her eye just pop out at you. i think the angles great and shows the intimacy between the two. i loved all of them but i think thats the one that stuck out to me as an artist. its not the models poses or their make up and color and stuff like that, its the use of the camera and the emotions it can bring out. you know?

I like #3. I really like how all of the details are so apparent. The background stands out so much but does not overwhelm the picture or the models.

My vote is for #6. I like the horizontal lines on the garage door. Their oppositional vertical stance against the horizontal lines helps them pop out of the picture and catches the eye of the viewer, it also breaks the tension that the horizontal lines create in the image. Ironically, that same tension is recreated between the two characters in their positions and faces. They both have a mystery about them, I am eager to know about but afraid it might kill me.
