Transform - Inspiring!

(I couldn't figure out how to make the video not play automatically, so if you didn't get to see this you can find it on Zacks weblink below)...

Zack Arias created this video a few months ago ( which I found on J*s site- Hollah!) and I often find myself watching it because its so inspiring and has helped me through my journey of photography. He puts into words, what he experiences with photography and what I'm sure many go through, including myself. It applies to so much more than just photography....I don't know about you, but I loved it! Give it a gander:)

I frecken love this vid...just boosted me up a notch. thanks for post'n this vid. Oh by the way, great work. I love it. I'm a new photographer and trying to learn to be like the rest of you pros. I think I've come a little ways forward. watching this video made me realize that its' going to take some time. Being patient is not one of my virtues...but i guess thats what it takes. thanks again and you've made me a fan of your work...

Hi Seini, thanks for commenting on my photos....hey do you know any Pahulu's in the bay area? I know a Ben Pahulu. He's married to Lose Maile....anyways, we all used to go to the same ward in the Oakland area. Well I really don't know what a overlay or mask is...i just use a flash and shoot through a reflector. It wasn't the effect i was going after but it was pretty fun to shoot my cousin. Whats an action? See how new I am to photography!! I don't know squat! I shoot with a Nikon d200 and my lens(which I am happy about) is a 17-55 f 2.8. It's a wonderful lens. Yea thats probably my next lens is a 70-200 f 2.8.
I wish I could do this full time. I work for the city of South Jordan doing street maintenance...yeah go figure! But it pays the bills and I still have a little time to do photography. I wish I could take those days off in May but I'm kind of saving up time for my next new born in June. My wife is expecting another boy. so anyways, you think you left a novel!! lol. thanks again for the support. talk to you laterz
